Boris Bartula
Piano, accordion and vocals
Born in Sarajevo, Boris has a degree from Sarajevo's Academy of Classical Music and has taught music in Yugoslavia for many years. He is the lead singer, pianist and accordionist of the Gitans de Sarajevo. He is also the main composer and arranger of the group's original songs. Although Boris speaks many languages, he mainly sings in Romi and in French. His strong stage presence seduces the audience and guides them into the world of gypsies effortlessly. He resides in Montreal since 1995 and is the founder of the Gitans de Sarajev
