Brigitte Dajczer

Born in Montreal and raised in Calgary, Alberta.Brigitte reflects the origins of her father, who immigrated to Canada from Poland. Although classically trained at the Senior Academy of Mount Royal College, her violin playing speaks of soul that can only be found in gypsy music. She plays many different styles of music, from Arabic and North African to Classical and Greek Rembetika. Her diversity in the many languages of music is what seduces audiences.
