Márton Maderspach
DRUM
Marton has started his musical career at an early age as violinist in diferent orchestras. He found himself attracted by percussion when he met Eduardo Pipman, his first drum teacher.
Learning jazz and groove feel, he finally finished a BAC in classical percussions at University of Montreal with Julien Grégoire. At that time having arrangement and composition lessons with José Evangelista. Since his degree, Marton found a passion for other percussions from all around the globe, like afro-cuban( in Havana), eastern european ( bulgaria, romania, turkey) and middle-eastern(iran).
His performed all around Canada and also in Europe with many groups as multi -perfomer. Mostly known as a drummer in ensembles like Sagapool, Les Gitans de Sarajevo, BRIGA, Macadam Orkestra. He plays percussions with Djoumbush(turkish) and Advaar( iran ) and also violin with artist like Juan Sebastian Larobina. He played at Festival de Jazz de Montreal, Fest. Rythmes du monde Chicoutimi, Fest. Mémoire et Racine. SunFest Ontario. He also works since 2008 as musical director rat Samajam percussions. For the next years, Marton will look forward to learn with other teachers around the world.
